Welcome to Hatmill Annex the ideal place to relax in the Kentish Weald.
Sitting aside the owners' converted farm building home, the detached, self-contained annexe is in the village of Brenchley.
The annexe is on a quiet country lane with walkers and riders passing by.
Hatmill Lane originally held the mill for the production of beaver lamb top hats, and the stream still flows through the properties.
Brenchley village centre has half-timbered houses, including the Old Workhouse and The Old Place. All Saints Church was built in 1233 and has 400-year-old yew trees.
Brenchley village is in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and sits amongst orchards, farmland and lovely walks.
Although few hops are now grown in the area there are plenty of oast houses to be seen and local farms produce apples, pears, cherries and grapes for local wineries.
The village has a post office selling basic provisions with further provisions at Horsmonden Heath Stores (2.5 miles away).
Easy walk to two pubs, two cafes and great base for country walks.
Kingsized bed on mezzanine, sofa bed on ground floor. Full kitchen with oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee maker +. Shower bathroom. WiFi. Parking. TV.
